SUN VALLEY'S BRITTANY PICKETT

Brittany finished her steller senior year with a 18-8 record and set a Union Co. record wtih 305 K's in a season. Mr. Pickett added a 1.80 ERA on the season for the Spartans. Brittany was named to the 2016- ALL-UCHSSoftballcom’s 1st team, 1st team ALL-SCC and was named Pitcher of the Year in the SCC. At the plate Brittany batted .522 and led Union Co with 9 HR's, had 35 hits while driving in 27 runs this season. She helped lead the Spartans to a 19-8 record, the SCC Conference Tournament Title and to the 3rd round of the state playoffs. Brittany was the '14 UCHSSoftball CY Young winner. Brittany will continue her playing career at UNC. CONGRATULATIONS BRITTANY !!!

CUTHBERTSON'S HAYLEE KOBZIAK

Haylee finished her steller senior year by hitting .594 on the season (4th in Union Co.) with 38 hits, scord 23 runs, knocked in 28 RBI and smacked 5 HRs for the Cavaliers. Haylee was named to the 2016- ALL-UCHSSoftballcom’s 1st team, 1st team ALL-SCC adn SCC Player of the Year. Haylee helped lead the Cuthbertson Cavaliers to a 17-7 record, the SCC Conference Championship and into the 2nd round of the state playoffs! Haylee will continue her playing career at NC State.
