PIEDMONT'S JILLIAN THOMAS

The 2021 Cy Young award winner is Piedmont's Jillian Thomas. Jillian by won the "Pitching Triple-Crown" leading Union Co. in wins with 13 (13-1), strike-outs with 162 batters and a 1.61 ERA. Jillian was named to the 2021 ALL-UCHSSoftball.m’s 1st team, 1st team ALL-SCC and SCC Pitcher of the Year, All District, District Pitcher of the Year and All-State. Jillian threw 7 shutouts including 2 NO-HITTERS this season. At the plate Jillian batted .458 with 22 hits while driving in 11 runs, smacking 1 HR this season. Ms. Thomas helped lead the Panthers to a 15-1 record, the SCC Title, into the 2nd round of the state playoffs. CONGRATULATIONS JILLIAN!!!

MARVIN RIDGE'S KATRIEL WILLIAMS

Katriel Williams finished her junior year by hitting .500 on the season with 25 hits, while knocking in 14 RBI and added 1 HR, and 3 triples. Katriel scored 21 runs for the Marvin Ridge Mavericks. Drove in a season high 3 RBI in the 10-8 win over Parkwood. Katriel was named to the 2021 ALL-UCHSSoftball.com’s 1st team, All-SCC, All District and All State. Ms. Williams helped lead the Marvin Ridge Mavericks to a 12-3 record and into the 3AA state Playoffs. CONGRATULATIONS KATRIEL!!
